Daniela Guarin (b. Colombia, 1992) recieved a BFA in both painting and fibers from the Savannah College of Art and Design (Savannah, GA) in 2015. Guarin has exhibited in several group exhibitions at Non- Fiction gallery, Lammar Dodd gallery, and DeFine Art Showcase in Georgia, as well as internationally at the London Design Festival in 2014. Her work has been published in Icon Magazine, Cover Magazine and The Pattern Base: Over 550 Contemporary Textile and Surface Designs among others, as well as being collected in the USA, Guatemala and Colombia. Currently, she is exploring textile technology, material analysis and social development. Guarin will relocate to New York in the spring of 2015.
